Ingredients for low calorie soup recipes for weight loss
1 cup Carrots
2 cloves Garlic
1 cup Green beans
2 Bay leaves
1 Onion, small
2 cups Broccoli florets
4 cups Cabbage
2 Bell peppers, whole
1/2 tsp Thyme & basil
1 can Tomatoes, low sodium
2 cups Zucchini
Baking & Spices
2 tbsp Tomato paste
6 cups Beef broth, low sodium
Instructions to make recipe for simple vegetable soup
Step 1. In a large pot cook onion & garlic over medium heat until slightly softened.
Step 2. Add carrots, cabbage & green beans and cook an additional 5 minutes.
Step 3. Stir in bell peppers, undrained tomatoes, broth, tomato paste, bay leaves and seasonings. Simmer 6-7 minutes.
Step 4. Add in zucchini & broccoli. Simmer an additional 5 minutes or until softened.
Step 5. Remove bay leaves before serving.
